Travel Scholarships Available

Registration for the convention and the travel scholarship application period is now closed.

If you live in Washington or Aroostook county and are planning to attend either the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association’s Farmer to Farmer Conference (Nov 4-6) or MFFM’s Farmers’ Market Convention, we have travel stipends available to help defray the travel costs. To apply, simply complete the information below. (The scholarships are possible thanks to support from the Broad Reach Fund. We’re happy to be able to offer this extra benefit to those who have the furthest to travel to take advantage of these important educational opportunities.)

Travel Stipend Application

MFFM is offering travel stipends to farmers and others in Washington and Aroostook counties who wish to attend MOFGA's Farmer to Farmer Conference OR MFFM's Farmers' Market Convention. Stipends are for $150 and will be provided on the day of the event to defray travel costs. Participants are responsible for registering for the conference of their choice and for paying registration fees. Stipends will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis as funding permits.
