If you’re considering joining a farmers’ market, but wondering where to start, this workshop at the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry’s Agricultural Trades Show will be helpful. (The Ag Trades Show is at the Augusta Civic Center Jan 12-14, and is free and open to the public.) This session will be offered as part of the Beginning Farmer Resource Network of Maine‘s schedule of programs(below). Hear from established market farmers who will explain what to expect from the process, and how to increase your likelihood of success.
