Info Booth Staff – Brunswick Winter Market
Hiring Immediately! We’re seeking a friendly, dependable person to staff the Market Info Booth each Saturday, 8:30am – 1pm, now through April.
The Info Booth is the hub for the market’s Maine Harvest Bucks / SNAP program, and a starting point for new shoppers. Responsibilities include:
- Managing SNAP/EBT transactions and distributing Maine Harvest Bucks
- Providing information about market programs including Bumper Crop and Maine Harvest Bucks
- Educating vendors on market currency programs
- Selling market swag to fundraise for programming
- Data reporting and record keeping
- Other local fundraising efforts
This is a great role for someone who enjoys talking with and helping people, supporting local food access, and being part of a fantastic market! Potential for more hours and year-round work for the right candidate.
