Freeport Farmers’ Market

The Freeport Farmers Market is held in Memorial Park – in downtown Freeport, just 2 blocks down Bow Street from LL Bean. The market is open every Friday 10:00 – 1:00pm from May 31 – September 27. In our beautiful shady setting, we feature locally grown produce – including delicious, seasonal fresh veggies, fruit, baked and canned goods, goat cheese, oysters and meat. In addition to our food vendors, we have sellers offering flowers, handmade toys, cards, jewelry, soaps, candles and skin care products. And more! There’s music to brighten your visit and room for kids to play. This year we’ll have food trucks with coffee and lunch, for those who want to extend their stay and enjoy the park a little longer!

Our market is a project of Freeport Climate Action Now (CAN), whose goal is to help the community find ways to mitigate the damaging effect of climate change. Encouraging people to shop locally is a small, but important step in this effort.
