Kelsey Kobik

Kelsey joined the staff in 2023 after serving two years on the MFFM Board of Directors. She came to the farm community after 15 years working in diners, delis, and childcare, when she used her elementary school job’s free summers to live and work at Goranson Farm. She spent the next four summers and winter weekends working on the farm and building her agricultural photography business. Along the way, she loved vending for Goranson’s at Damariscotta, Boothbay, Portland, and Brunswick markets. Now she focuses on verbal and visual communication to promote understanding and support for our local food system.
Kelsey is passionate about class awareness and employee visibility in market farming. She lives in Freedom, Maine, where she and her partner run a sourdough bakery, Vesper Bread. You can see her commercial and editorial farm photography at kelseykobik.com
