Sponsoring the Maine Farmers’ Market Convention is an excellent way to reach an audience of market farmers and other vendors. We expect about 110 attendees at the 2017 convention, and most of those bring their materials back to their markets to report out and share after the convention, so placement in those materials will meet a wide audience. Additionally, this year convention sponsors have the option to table or display at the convention, since we will have ample exhibit space. This is another excellent way to show off your products or services.
From the Federation’s perspective, sponsorships are crucial, enabling us to keep registration costs low and the quality of the programming high. This year we are bringing in speakers from out of state, offering more sessions than ever, while still offering lower fees and scholarships to rural farmers. If you believe farmers’ markets are an important part of the local food system, show your support by sponsoring the convention.
The formal levels of sponsorship are listed below, but anyone can get involved any level!
