The Blue Hill Farmers’ Market is a producer only market, open late May through early October, every Saturday, 9:00am-11:30am. The market offers a wonderful selection of locally grown meats & smoked meats, freshly baked goods, goat cheese, coffee, flowers & seedlings,pottery, wooden bowls & spoons, toys, soaps, art & photographs, notecards, caskets, caned chairs, and Mexican food to go. The farmers among us produce herb & vegetable starts for your garden, organic vegetables, strawberries, blueberries and fall fruits.
Outdoor activities near the market: Located in downtown Blue Hill, Horton Emerson Park is a pocket park that offers great views of the bay, ideal for picnics & taking in the views. The park features the dramatic sculpture “Window of the Sea Wind” by Japanese artist Nitoshi Tanaka.
